AmeriCorps VISTA Summer Associates

You will work with students in grades K thru 9 to reduce summer learning loss.  Help young campers maintain and enrich their reading, math and fitness skills.

Eligibility criteria:
1. Associates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of placement.
2. Associates must serve on a full-time basis during the project period.
3. Associates may not have outside employment during the project period.
4. Associates must not be listed on the National Sex Offenders Public Registry. 

The project period is June 4, 2012 - July 28, 2012.   

At the end of service, a $1,174 Segal AmeriCorps Education Award will be given to Summer Associates. Additionally, a living allowance is also provided every two weeks during service.
